Our Tamanu Balm is definitely a first aid kit staple, and  heals a wide range of skin problems as you can see below in the before and after photos.  It has the super healing powers of the Tamanu plant with the protection of Monoi Butter and soothing effects of Organic Cranberry and Blackcurrant Seed oil. To be honest  I don't like the smell of it compared to all of the other products from Tropic, but some other clients find it ok, but as it is such a versatile product you soon forget about the smell, it's the cranberry smell I don't like.  The balm is amazing on eczema and psoriasis, you just take a small amount in your hand and rub together between your hands and apply directly onto the affected area. How to acheive the perfect tan safely

First step to achieving a beautiful tan starts with the preparation of your skin and that means exfoliating. Exfoliating is the removal of dead skin cells that sit on the top layer of your skin, by removing this we can achieve a brighter, smoother looking skin. also when applying your self tan it will go on much easier and will not look patchy as its the dry looking dead skin cells that causes this, also if you are tanning safely outside this helps to achieve a more even tan and will prevent peeling. Also make sure you don't over exfoliate you do not want your skin to start going red so gently do this process. I use Tropics Body Smooth refreshing polish, the founding product from Tropic, rich in mineral sea salts that gently remove dead skin cells and polish the skin, golden jojoba and macadamia oils that hydrate and soften skin, full of essential oils of lemon myrtle, bergamot and lime.

Mothers Day 26th March

I've been quite of late and not posted in a while, I've had a lot of problems my knees of late and been in a lot of pain especially in the cold weather which hasn't helped.  Well enough about me and let's think about gifts for Mothers Day.  I think hampers are a great idea, and you can pick items up at great affordable prices.  Shops like Home Bargains, Poudstretcher and B&M bargains are great for picking up great items themed for any occasion.

 They've an array of containers that can be used as hamper boxes, I got this white plastic container for only 99p. For some reason they don't stock tissue paper as they have everything else, but you can get some shredded tissue paper packs for only 99p in any card shop like the Card Factory, but if you are going to be making hampers a lot I get them from a company Peake Blooms and they sell them on a larger scale and so much cheaper. I also would put bubble wrap under the tissue paper as it helps to stop the paper from collapsing in with the weight of the products and you'll use less paper also.
